Career highlight: First career in Marketing Research industry – developed a customer and employee measurement product for my company to market globally. Second career in Image Consulting – building my own business and writing a book.

Career lowlight: Joining a small company as Director and Deputy Managing Director without checking their financial stability, and having to face employees who don’t get paid and debts to suppliers.

Normal working day: First thing in the morning, check emails for enquiries and job confirmation. If there is no client consultation, coaching or training, then write proposals or prepare for next consultation or training. If there is training, I’m flat out on my feet one or two days non-stop.

Downtime: Shopping (a must- part of work!), long lunch with girlfriends, spa alone, dinner with family, msn with my daughter in Melbourne, holiday with hubby and sometimes with one or all of my three daughters and son-in-law.

Best piece of advice: You are never too old to learn – it’s the only way to stay young.
