Normal working day: No such thing (I’m glad to say) – I might be writing a book or conducting a training course in London … or Singapore

Downtime: I have no trouble switching off and relaxing: travel, and holidays are great – warm weather, a nice beach, good company and a good book are a treat.

Best piece of advice: I have always loved a quotation from Samuel Johnson: 'The one serious conviction a man should have is that nothing is to be taken too seriously'. Not a bad motto for life, it seems to me.
